~ Our Mission ~

The principle aim of the organization shall be:

To promote the highest standard of performance and appreciation of music, with a focus on choral singing.

The organization shall aim to provide a vehicle for the enjoyment of singing, and to this end, membership shall be open to all persons subject to the conditions set out in the by-laws.

To this end it shall perform public concerts, give publicity to musical events, join with other like
minded organizations such as Choirs Ontario, and take such other steps as will further
the appreciation of this art form.

The Chorale will support other performing arts organizations in Windsor/Essex and Chatham-Kent.

The organization, as a corporate member of the community, shall involve itself in the community,
where it is appropriate and in line with the aims and goals of The Chorale.

The organization shall be non-profit and amateur in status, i.e. no member shall be paid for
performing with the organization.

The organization shall be carried on without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other
gains to the organization shall be used in promoting its objectives.
